SOUTHWESTERN OHIO EDUCATIONAL PURCHASING COUNCIL &
OHIO MID-EASTERN REGIONAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AGENCY
LEGAL NOTICE – School Buses
Sealed proposals will be received for school buses by the Southwestern Ohio Educational Purchasing Council (EPC) and the Ohio Mid-Eastern Regional Educational Service Agency (OME-RESA) on behalf of ALL Members at the EPC Office, 303 Corporate Center Drive, Suite 208, Vandalia, Ohio 45377, until 9:00
a.m. EDT, Friday, September 11, 2026, and will be publicly opened and recorded thereafter. No bid shall be permitted to be withdrawn without
the express approval of the EPC, except as provided under the Ohio Revised Code, and said bid shall be firm for at least ninety days (90) from the date
received. Extensions beyond the initial 90 days are possible with the written approval of each approved vendor. All bids and the EPC/OME-RESA
Cooperative School Bus Program evaluations will be electronically sent to each participating Member, who will then review and accept or reject their desired bids.
Bids will be received with respect to the integrated units and will state that the buses when assembled and prior to delivery, shall comply with all participating Member specifications, all safety regulations and current Ohio minimum standards for school bus construction as per the department of education adopted by and with the consent of the director of highway safety pursuant to section 4511.01 of the Ohio Revised Code and all other pertinent provisions of law for the following school bus chassis and bodies.
Bus Bids are being requested for the following types and passenger sizes:
Conventional: 47, 54, 65, 72, 78, 83, 84
Handicapped: 36, 42, 48, 65, 67, 71, 72, 77
Transit: 72, 77, 84
Type A: 10, 12, 14

Sealed solicitations will be received by the Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies (AEPA) on behalf of its 31 State Member Agencies until:
1:30 p.m. ET, August 13, 2026
Solicitations: 027-A Maintenance, Repair and Operations, 027-B Custodial Supplies and Equipment, 027-C Office, School and Instructional Supplies, 027-D Technology Buyback, 027-E Athletic Supplies and Equipment, 027-F PreK-12 AI Solutions, and 027-G Promotional Items.
All responses shall be submitted online via Euna Procurement by the due date and time listed above. Vendors are requested to visit AEPA’s website at https://aepacoop.org/registration-solicitations/ for instructions on how to register at no cost with Euna Procurement. AEPA documents will be released on June 30, 2026. Note that Vendors must be able to provide their proposed products and services in up to 31 states.
Solicitations will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. ET, August 13, 2026 at EducationPlus, 1460 Craig Road, St Louis MO 63146. An opening record will be posted to AEPACOOP.org.
